Dr. Hamida Ahmad presided over the programme.
Azhar was awarded the eTown eChievement Award from the eTown community in the USA. Since 1991, the award has recognized people from around the world who are helping to make their communities a better place.
Azhar Maqsusi was awarded the Mother Teresa Jansena Award 2017 by EKTA SEVABHAVI SANSTA in Malegaon, Maharashtra, through the hands of Dept. Sup. Police Malegaon Sri. Gajanan Shivling Rajmane.
Azhar was given the Social Heroes Award on 8th September 2018 at the Nehru Auditorium, Madina Education Center, Nampally, Hyderabad, in an award ceremony for volunteers and NGOs that had worked on Team Bakrid, Kerala Relief and Rohingya Relief activities that year.
